The TPS76801QDR is a highly efficient device with a fast transient response, making it ideal for applications requiring a stable output voltage. With the ability to work with 10 µF capacitors, this LDO offers high performance at a cost-effective price point. The PMOS pass element acts like a low-value resistor, resulting in a minimal dropout voltage of only 230 mV at 1 A output current. This low dropout voltage is directly proportional to the output current, ensuring efficient power delivery. Moreover, the PMOS pass element operates on low quiescent current, approximately 85 µA across the full range of output current, enhancing the longevity of battery-powered systems. The regulator also features a shutdown mode, allowing for further reduction in quiescent current to less than 1 µA at 25°C. The power good (PG) signal is active high and can serve various functions such as power-on reset or low-battery indicator, adding versatility to the device
