The BQ2407xT series presents a range of integrated Li-ion chargers and system power path management devices tailored for compact portable applications. Featuring support for charge currents up to 1.5A and the flexibility to operate from USB ports or AC adapters, these devices provide a convenient and versatile charging solution. The input voltage range with over-voltage protection ensures compatibility with a variety of adapters, while the accurate USB input current limit and start-up sequence meet USB-IF specifications. The dynamic power path management feature empowers the system to be powered while independently charging the battery, effectively reducing the number of charge and discharge cycles and enabling operation with a defective or absent battery pack. Moreover, the regulated system input enables immediate system turn-on, even with a fully discharged battery, and the power-path management architecture allows the battery to supplement system current requirements when peak currents cannot be delivered by the adapter. With a three-phase battery charging process, internal temperature monitoring, high accuracy regulation loops, and programmable current and voltage limits, the BQ2407xT series offers a comprehensive and efficient charging and power management solution for portable devices
