The BQ24072RGTR is a highly integrated linear Li-Ion battery charger from Texas Instruments. It is designed for single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Pol battery packs and can deliver up to 1A of continuous charging current. The device includes all necessary power MOSFETs, current sensing, and voltage setting components in a small 2mm x 2mm QFN package.The charger features a highly accurate voltage regulation with 0.5% accuracy over the entire operating temperature range. It also includes charge status indicators, such as a power good output and an integrated charge status flag.The BQ24072RGTR offers an input voltage range of 4.5V to 6.5V and is capable of safely charging a battery even when the input voltage is below the battery voltage.
